"On the Beach" 12' x 30' tall on a staircase.
Not only is the entire wall above the stairs painted with a mural of the lakeshore, but the 'rock wall' below the stairs is painted too! This posed a perspective challenge in making the path descend to the beach as it actually is painted going up the wall. Additional pictures show the view from above and detail shots of the work.

Inspire tired plain white walls to new life. Beautiful faux finishes such as color washing, ragging, striping, and plaster finishes can bring new life to a dull room. More involved finishes: Marbling, wood graining, stenciling, trompe l'oeil, and muralling can add architectural interest or a focal point to any area. Be sure to check out the Gallery for more photos to inspire you.
