I was pretty busy this past week painting a very interesting dining room cabinet wall mural:
This cabinet is just full of things that have very special meaning to members of the family. Favorite books, hobbies like baking, softball and playing bunko are featured. I included their favorite serve ware, a photo of their old cottage up north in the UP of Michigan and a cup filled with pencils for the homeowner’s teaching profession. Being Scandinavian, the Rosemaling on the lower doors and the Folk art horse indicate the family history. I included their pet guinea pigs and a few simple things they love make this a very personal mural.

Favorite Bible verses grace both sides of the header between the dining room and living room
The kitchen got a copper-wash treatment with some copper reverse stenciling, simple and understated.
